These are families in rural areas, often overlooked and unsupported, where living conditions are far below acceptable standards.
The truth is, a home is much more than just four walls and a roof. It's a fundamental determinant of health.
As research clearly shows, the affordability, stability, quality, safety, and surrounding neighborhood of a dwelling profoundly impact physical and mental well-being. Today, we want to focus specifically on the critical role of housing quality – both the physical structure itself and the environment in which it stands.

When Housing Harms Health
