Dear Esteemed Leaders at the World Bank and Development Financing Institutions,

I am honored to submit this investment proposal on behalf of Agundiz Design Inc. and our humanitarian initiative, the  Housing Aid Campaign Mexico, for your consideration under the World Bank’s strategic financing for sustainable infrastructure, climate resilience, and poverty alleviation.
We seek a catalytic investment of $50 million USD to implement Phase 1 of a scalable, climate-resilient housing program targeting vulnerable communities in San Luis Potosí, Mexico, and ultimately other high-risk regions across Latin America.

We proudly introduce Agundiz Design Inc Housing Community Humanitarian Aid Campaign Mexico “Housing Is Hope: Transforming Lives, Securing Futures,” a revolutionary campaign of housing solutions proving that dignified, green homes are the link feature for ending poverty and building climate resilience.  we deliver sustainably built homes using thermo-block concrete, passive-solar systems and water-harvesting technologies.

By uniting international authorities, financial institutions, NGOs, world leaders,  and local communities, we propose:

positions climate-resilient, community-led housing as the catalyst to break the cycle of poverty and create housing showcase innovative Thermo-block concrete homes that deliver:  the $20,000-per-Home Cost into “Housing Is Hope”

1. Total Budget and Funding Gap

• Construct 2,000+ climate-resilient homes in Mexico at $20,000 USD each (total: $40 million), with a $10 million buffer for infrastructure, training and contingencies.

• Employ thermo-block concrete paired with passive solar design and rainwater harvesting, while training local builders and women’s cooperatives.

• Mobilize $50 million through a blended-finance structure:

  – $10 million in first-loss capital (Green Climate Fund / government subsidies)

  – $20 million in commercial debt from regional banks

  – $10 million from ESG-focused private investors

  – $5 million in community micro-loans and family contributions

  – Projected $5 million in carbon-credit revenue over five years

Compared to similar global initiatives, Agundiz Design Inc/ Housing Community Humanitarian Aid Campaign Mexico stands out by:

• Integrating technical innovation, community empowerment and policy advocacy into one unified model.

• Aligning every outcome with SDGs 1, 3,5, 7, 8, 11 and 13 and Mexico’s Country Partnership Framework with the World Bank.

• Providing a digital repository of geo-tagged construction data and real-time M&E dashboards to ensure transparency and investor confidence.

To secure participation from the World Bank and other DFIs, we further propose:

1. Adopting the Global Program for Resilient Housing’s five-step methodology—risk mapping via drones/ML, automated vulnerability scoring and a one-stop Housing Portal.

2. Structuring a Blended Finance Facility with partial-credit guarantees and parametric climate insurance to de-risk private capital.

3. Certifying all prototypes under IFC, EDGE to access green lending lines and package carbon credits for voluntary markets.

4. Launching “Housing Delivery Labs” that convene governments, academia, private sector and communities to co-design scalable solutions.

5. Defining SMART KPIs and commissioning independent evaluators to measure social, economic and environmental returns.

We invite you to include us in this revolutionary campaign of housing solutions. Your technical endorsement and financial partnership will scale a proven model that transforms housing from mere shelter into a catalyst for social progress, community well-being and climate resilience

A Call to Action

The Reality of Housing in Mexico
Mexico is a country of vibrant culture and stunning landscapes. However, beyond the tourist circuits, municipal neighborhoods and rural areas exist where millions of families survive in precarious and insecure housing. These communities, despite their urgent need, remain underserved while focus is placed on business centers and tourist attractions.

The Harsh Reality of Substandard Housing:

Lack of Protection: Millions of low- or no-income homes lack adequate insulation and ventilation, trapping extreme heat.
Many dwellings harbor mold, pests, and structural failures. They offer no protection against storms, floods, or earthquakes.

Health Risks: These conditions contribute to chronic health problems.

Social Impact: They lead to school absenteeism and perpetuate cycles of poverty.

Compromised Dignity: We see children studying by candlelight, elderly suffering heatstroke, and single mothers struggling to keep a roof over their families.

🌍 Why This Project Matters Now
Climate change is no longer a distant threat  it is a lived emergency.
In Mexico, record-breaking heatwaves, water scarcity, flooding, and extreme weather are endangering millions, particularly those already living in substandard housing.
More than 10 million Mexican families live without safe shelter in homes made of scrap wood, metal sheets, or non-insulated concrete that trap dangerous heat, spread mold, and expose children and the elderly to illness and early mortality.

❤️ Why We Do It: Our Passion and Purpose

Because poverty is not solved by charity alone, but by structural changes, safe shelters, and resilient communities.
Because a healthy home changes everything.
Because architecture can heal, just like medicine.
Because no child should suffer heatstroke inside their own home.
Because extreme heat, mold, and overcrowding silently destroy lives.
Because a house is not a luxury, it is a human right.
Our mission is to empower low-income families by providing stable, dignified homes that improve health, boost education, and foster long-term independence.

🌱 Social and Climate Impact
Our project is directly aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs):
✅ SDG 1: No Poverty
✅ SDG 3: Good Health and Well-being
✅ SDG 5: Gender Equality
✅ SDG 7: Affordable and Clean Energy
✅ SDG 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth
✅ SDG 11: Sustainable Cities and Communities
✅ SDG 13: Climate Action

🧭 Strategic
Objectives (Next 3 Years)
Construct over 2,000 resilient homes.
Reduce climate risk and the incidence of respiratory diseases.
Create local jobs, foster financial inclusion, and strengthen community stability.
Generate replicable ESG investment models.
Expand to other countries with similar conditions (Honduras, Peru, West Africa, Middle East).
